Character Building Program (CBP)

The rise and fall of nations have always depended on their commitment to purpose, values, and character. Pakistan, despite its rich resources, is facing severe economic and social challenges due to a crisis of character. We aim to address this crisis for a brighter future. Our Character Building Program (CBP) nurtures children’s character through a practical curriculum based on core values and modern needs. It aims to foster well-rounded development, preparing children to contribute positively to society.

About character building Program (cbP):

Children are the future of our nation. We are committed to nurturing their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Our Character Building Program (CBP) – Hasana Tarbiyah Program is based on 5 fundamental areas and 25 character traits for character development that focus on building children’s character. This program offers a unique curriculum developed with foundational values, societal norms, the ideology of Pakistan, and modern needs. This curriculum is designed to help children demonstrate exemplary character.

We hope this curriculum will help build strong character in students and all members of the community.

Character Building Program (CBP)-Hasana Tarbiyah Model

Our Character Building Program (CBP) – Hasana Tarbiyah Model was created through extensive collaborative consultations with teachers, Islamic scholars, parents, educators, and psychologists. By the grace of Allah Almighty, we have successfully developed this model, embodying our life vision encapsulated in the term “Hasana” (Rabbina Aatina Fiddunniya Hasana wafil Akhira). Based on this model 25 character traits in 05 areas will help shape children into strong, confident, and socially responsible individuals.  Notable features of this model encompass:

  • Strategies and measures to address the unseen challenges of the modern era.
  • Preparing a generation that builds a bright future.

  • Achieving character-building goals alongside the educational curriculum

The Six Essential Influencers in Character-Building

Children’s upbringing cannot be achieved through a single source. When all factors influencing children provide a consistent environment, the desired qualities and behaviors emerge. Therefore, it is not just educational institutions or parents alone; the curriculum, teachers, parents, peers, and media are the six key factors through which Character Education Foundation (CEF) aims to nurture children. By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT), after thorough research, practical and effective materials have been developed for all these sources.

The Ultimate Guide For Character Building

The curriculum document (Hasilat-e-Talum) serves as a guide and an aid in creating the character-building curriculum. The preparation of this document was completed in the following stages:

  1. Detailed study of globally prevalent curriculum design methods.
  2. Determining the stages of curriculum development for character-building
  3. Detailed study of the Islamic education system to determine stages.
  4. Detailed study of the Western education system.
  5. Cross-curriculum priorities and general capabilities have been determined, which include:
    1. a) Cross-curriculum priorities: Divine approval, comprehensive understanding of religion, patriotism, Islamic culture, and civilization.

      b) General capabilities: Life skills, entrepreneurship skills.

  6. Utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills.

After determining the above priorities, resource papers were created. These papers were initially self-reviewed and later reviewed by the country’s education and training experts. The entire Quran was integrated into 25 domains, with subtopics included in their relevant attributes. The final draft was reviewed by more than 25 education and training experts, after which the curriculum development process began.
